Archery Tag

10.03.2020                   Archery Tag
On Monday 24th of February 2020, the Year 6’s went on camp to Living Springs for a school camp, my favourite moment was Archery Tag.

On Tuesday we went to a field to play a game of Archery Tag.
Alex (one of the staff at Living Springs) split us into our house colours. but if the numbers were uneven, he would take some kids out from their group and add them to the group who have less people.

Alex taught us how to hold the bow, how to shoot from the bow and then he taught us how to shoot from the bow and arrow.
After Alex taught us everything we had to know, he put us into groups and then we had to put face masks on so if we get shot in the face it wouldn’t hurt.

On each teams side we had these inflatable shields and two foam targets.
If we shot out all of the other teams targets then we win.
It was also cool how Alex played star wars music while we were playing.

Thank you Living Springs for this amazing opportunity to stay with you, I had an amazing time and I think we all did!
Hope to see you again.

  1. Hi Jennifer, that sounds like a fun game to play. Did you enjoy it and did you win? What a really cool idea playing the Star Wars music while you were playing.

  2. Hi Jennifer Kate here from New Brighton Catholic School. I like how you put a picture in. Star Wars music is pretty cool while doing archery. Alex sounds helpful. May be next time make the font smaller because it was kind of hard to read in some bits. Whats your favourite activity that you did at Living Springs?
