Super Swimming

My swimming goal is to try not to get the correct freestyle,I am going to do that by

kicking my feet and having staight arms. Something that was tricky for me was

when my group did the mushroom, the mushroom is when you have a compation

and see who holds their breath the longest. Why do swimming instrocters have

to teach the kids the survivel backstroke?

Sparkling Shapes

In room 4 we have been learning to identify three-dimensional(3D)and also

two-dimensional(2D) My favourite part was when we

got to choose one of the 3D shapes from  the mysterious box of shapes,I picked

up a pyramid from the box,we had to use a pen or pencil to trace the faces then

we had to cut it out and fold it,the next step was to tape up the parts that we cut.

The trickest part was when i did the triangular prism because whenever I tried to

tape the triange faces they will always fold in. Why do shapes have to have a

certain name?

Learning about robots

In Room 4 we have been learning about robots

We had a visitor from university of Canterbury Matthew Young. He programs

robots and he builds robots,my favourite part was when he showed us a video

when he did a race with other robots. What I liked about the race was that he

added a water gun on his robot so the other robots might shut down.

I would like to know how long it would take to build a huge robot?

Quizzica questions

I am learing to speak in Māori and say insects in Māori. My favourite kupu in

Māori is Pūrerehua - butterfly. The book was called He aha tēnei.

Why does Te Reo Māori have the macrons on the top of the letters but English

words don't have macrons?
